Qualifications

• Must have ABA-accredited JD or LLB and Law School transcript.
• Currently a member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. state, territory, D.C., or Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative legal advice and litigation support on Forest Service matters.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts, permits, leases, and other legal instruments.
• Represent the Forest Service in legal proceedings and coordinate with DOJ as needed.
• Advise leadership on litigation decisions, settlements, and appeals.
