Job summary

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support IT and business initiatives for a high-visibility federal law-enforcement customer.

The Project Manager will lead multiple concurrent projects, coordinate stakeholders, manage schedule/risk/deliverables, and apply Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall practices as appropriate. The role is hybrid in Washington, DC, with on-site/telework arrangements and a Public Trust clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT projects.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Current Agile certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, PSM, or comparable recognized Agile credential.
• Strong federal stakeholder communication, organization, and written/oral briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to approximately 10 concurrent projects and coordinate scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables.
• Lead project planning, status reporting, stakeholder coordination and decision tracking.
• Apply Agile, Kanban and Waterfall methods based on project needs; facilitate appropriate Agile ceremonies.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Project, Teams Planner/Planner Premium, SharePoint, ServiceNow and other portfolio/project dashboards.
• Coordinate requirements, resources, documentation, quality reviews and timely completion of project outputs.
• Prepare concise customer-ready status information, recommendations, and risk-mitigation actions.
