Dell GmbH in the United States is seeking a Federal Customer Program Manager to lead end-to-end IT program delivery for Federal customers, spanning hardware, software, services, facilities, security, and supply chain.

This leadership role emphasizes hardware configuration, fulfillment, and order management, with oversight of scope, schedule, budget, and executive reporting. You will coordinate with engineering, services, facilities and security teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 8–12 years of experience in program or project management delivering complex IT infrastructure or solutions for Federal/public sector.
• Led cross-functional programs involving hardware, software, services, and logistics/supply chain.
• Strong understanding of Federal environments, including contracts, CDRLs, and security/compliance requirements.
• Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar programs with executives and tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, ITIL) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall program strategy, scope, and delivery plan for multi-LOB IT solutions including hardware configuration and deployment.
• Manage and develop the program team with oversight of day-to-day engineering, administrative, and logistics activities.
• Run program governance and maintain integrated plans, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate across engineering, services, facilities, security, finance, sales, supply chain, manufacturing, and order management.
• Own scope, schedule, and budget, including forecasting, cost tracking, and changes to protect margins.
• Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies, focusing on supply chain constraints and logistics.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders; provide executive-status reporting and manage expectations.
• Oversee build, integration, testing, and deployment per contract requirements.
• Ensure contract deliverables (CDRLs) are compliant, traceable, and properly documented.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across engagements.
• Identify follow-on customer needs and collaborate on pipeline and capture with Account Team.
