Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years in technical writing or related role.
• Ability to convey complex tech clearly to varied audiences.
• Experience with documentation tools (word, PDF, help authoring).
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship, travel <10%.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex technical and security information into user guides, SOPs, workflows, and reference materials for varied audiences.
• Gather, analyze, and validate information from SMEs and other stakeholders.
• Apply structured writing, templates, and style guides for cohesive content across manuals and articles.
• Produce content in formats including web-based help, printable documentation, and training materials.
• Apply plain-language principles, accessibility standards, and federal guidelines for clarity and compliance.
• Coordinate review cycles and maintain version control with auditable histories.
• Collaborate with agile and DevOps teams to update docs with frequent releases.
• Support documentation needs for enterprise IT services (cloud, cybersecurity, ITSM).
• Align documentation with ITIL-based service management practices.
