Job summary

Stampede Ventures, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for medical construction in Huntsville, AL. You will lead complex federal healthcare projects from pre-construction through turnover, coordinating with designers, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in healthcare construction, strong CPM and budgeting skills, and proven ability to manage projects in occupied facilities with life-safety considerations. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred (or equivalent federal construction experience).
10+ years’ project management experience in healthcare design/construction, with supervisory govt work experience.
Led at least one complex federal design-build project valued ≥ $20M.
Experience managing projects in occupied healthcare facilities with outages and life-safety coordination.
Strong knowledge of USACE processes, RMS/QCS, CPM scheduling, and federal contract docs.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of complex federal medical construction projects from pre-construction through turnover.
Maintain accountability for safety, quality, schedule, budget, and contract compliance.
Develop and manage CPM schedules aligned with milestones across design, procurement, construction, and turnover.
Identify risks, assess schedule impacts, and implement recovery plans.
Coordinate with designers, subcontractors, vendors, and government reviewers throughout all phases.
Direct subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time, within-budget delivery.
