Job summary

SIRIS, LLC, is seeking a Construction Manager to serve as Owner’s Representative on federal healthcare projects, onsite at active sites in the West Haven, CT area. This exempt, full-time role reports to a Program Manager and collaborates with VA client teams, designers, and contractors to ensure compliant delivery from design through closeout.

The role emphasizes oversight, coordination, analysis, and client representation, without performing trades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in construction administration, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting regulated environments (healthcare, federal, or institutional) preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of healthcare construction projects from design through closeout.
• Monitor and analyze project budgets, expenditures, change orders, and cost trends.
• Review construction schedules, progress reports, and contractor performance.
• Participate in project meetings and support payment reviews and reporting.
• Maintain documentation supporting issue identification, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor testing, inspection, and quality assurance activities for compliance.
• Support commissioning activities, including coordination and documentation review.
• Review contractor submittals and reported progress for conformance with approved plans and contracts.
• Prepare analytical reports and correspondence for client and leadership review.
• Apply company best practices related to healthcare project delivery, safety, quality, and compliance.
