The Senior Manager of Federal Government Relations at Consumer Data Industry Association, Inc. will lead federal advocacy in Washington, DC, building strong relationships with policymakers, monitoring legislation, and guiding CDIA's PAC operations in a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

Reporting to the Senior VP of Government Relations, you will develop policy materials, coordinate with members and partners, and manage external consultants to advance financial services and data privacy priorities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years of federal advocacy experience; trade association or corporate government relations preferred.
• Experience with corporate or trade association Political Action Committees strongly preferred.
• Ability to meet and maintain federal lobbyist registration requirements, as applicable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial services policy, including credit reporting, housing and mortgage policy, fair lending, financial inclusion, student lending, data privacy, and emerging technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain beneficial relationships with Members of Congress and other Washington stakeholders.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the CDIA PAC, budget, enrollment and disbursement activities, and compliance.
• Monitor, analyze, and assess proposed federal legislation and regulations impacting CDIA members.
• Develop policy materials including talking points, summaries, testimony, and official comments.
• Coordinate timely responses to inquiries from government officials and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal initiatives that involve CDIA stakeholders.
• Assist in managing outside consultants and advocacy strategy deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for CDIA member participation in Washington meetings and events.
• Work with the SVP of Government Relations to maintain policy updates and communications.
