USATII is seeking Forward Deployed Software Engineers to develop, implement, and extend the DART platform for federal government customers in Washington, DC. You will work directly with government personnel to translate complex requirements into production software and own substantial product workflows from design to deployment.

You will build across the stack using TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, delivering scalable, secure solutions.

Competenze

4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience building and operating production applications spanning frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and tests.
Degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Mansioni

Work directly with federal personnel to translate requirements into production software.
Develop and maintain full-stack capabilities using TypeScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL.
Own end-to-end product workflows from design to deployment, including tests and documentation.
Extend DART's qualification and deployment features.
Build dashboards and historical reporting for government stakeholders.
Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to evaluate trade-offs and improve quality.
