Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a financial management professional to support Federal clients in budgeting, grants, and reimbursable agreements. You will translate complex financial data into insights for clients and work within a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality outputs on time.

You will develop deliverables, facilitate client sessions, and communicate findings to stakeholders, with up to 2–5 days on-site and a DC metro-area residence requirement.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD public trust.
• 3–5 years of consulting experience, preferably with Federal clients.
• Experience with Federal financial management requirements and guidance.
• Experience with Federal agencies and accounting requirements.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Hybrid position may require up to 2–5 days on-site.
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of DC metro area.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing financial management support to Federal clients per Federal requirements.
• Support development of business case documentation (needs analyses, cost/benefit analyses).
• Prepare, review, and reconcile federal financial documents and grant-related records.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance financial operations and controls.
• Develop clear, well-structured deliverables (presentations, reports, analyses, dashboards).
• Facilitate client meetings and gather data to validate findings.
• Communicate project status and findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Provide analysis and insight to managers and leadership to inform decision-making.
