Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• At least three years reviewing financial statements and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
• Three+ years of budget execution during a fiscal-year cycle.
• Three+ years presenting status-of-funds information to management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Process financial documents and transactions using UFMS.
• Review practices for compliance with federal laws and OMB directives.
• Identify corrective actions for improper expenditures and fund accounting.
• Review annual statements for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Support budget execution throughout the fiscal-year cycle.
• Track and analyze financial information for fund management.
• Prepare status-of-funds information and reports for leadership.
• Present financial information and funding status to management.
• Prepare financial documents, reports, and presentations.
• Utilize Excel to organize, analyze, and present data.
