ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael's is hiring a Federal Financial Compliance Analyst to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. In this role, you will assess posting logic compliance in GFEBS, investigate data anomalies, and help develop and implement corrective actions in response to posting logic compliance issues. You'll work closely with Service Provider stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance financial reporting accuracy. LOCATION

Remote - with occasional travel as directed by the client.

(Candidates must reside in the United States and meet clearance eligibility requirements)

WHO YOU ARE

  • Strong understanding of the United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL) and federal financial accounting/reporting
  • Skilled in identifying non-compliant posting logic and developing corrective actions
  • Experienced in performing root cause analysis and developing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
  • Capable of collaborating across teams and communicating clearly with stakeholders and service providers
  • Have 6+ years of federal financial management experience, including 3+ years in federal accounting
  • Hold a master's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Business Management, or a relevant certification (CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, or CDFM)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform quarterly analysis of GFEBS posting logic for USSGL compliance and identify non-compliant scenarios
  • Conduct root cause analysis for identified non-compliant posting logic
  • Develop and submit System Change Requests (SCRs) to resolve GFEBS posting issues
  • Research and develop Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) in response to Notices of Finding and Recommendation (NFRs)
  • Coordinate with system/business process owners and implement manual or system-based corrections
  • Update and maintain the GFEBS Posting Logic SOP annually to reflect new processes, procedures, or controls implemented throughout the year

COMPENSATION: As required by applicable law, St. Michael's Inc. provides reasonable pay ranges for remote positions based on labor market conditions in locations where compensation transparency is required. The base pay range for this remote position is $90,000 - $140,000. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
