Job summary

Blake Willson Group (BWG) seeks a Federal Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager to oversee accounting operations, reporting support, and contractor team coordination for federal programs. Experience with USSGL, Oracle PeopleSoft Federal modules, and federal reporting requirements is essential.

The role emphasizes year-end close, audit readiness, and coordination with Government representatives. A TS/SCI clearance is required for the position and Washington, DC on-site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of federal financial accounting, including USSGL.
• 5+ years supporting Oracle PeopleSoft Federal financial programs (GL & AM).
• Active CPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor team activities, quality control, and GL/AM management.
• Oversee CLIN reconciliation and related financial management activities.
• Manage staffing, schedules, deliverables, and issue escalation for contract performance.
• Serve as primary contractor point of contact for day-to-day performance with Government reps.
• Support period-end and year-end close activities per Federal requirements.
• Apply understanding of OMB Circular A-136, TFM, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate financial reporting across teams while noting Government approval authority remains with officials.
