Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a Janitorial/Custodial Services Technician to perform cleaning and maintenance in a federal facility in Kentucky. The role involves dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment and supplies, with duties that may be performed solo or as part of a team.

You will follow cleaning schedules, uphold safety standards, and report equipment issues or hazards. A Public Trust clearance is required or obtainable, with U.S. citizenship requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of janitorial or custodial experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written cleaning schedules with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and use of PPE.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas, restock supplies.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum daily in work areas and entryways.
• Wipe and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doors and card readers.
• Empty trash and recycling, transport waste to designated areas.
• Clean loading dock, back dock mail area, and exterior grounds as assigned.
• Perform periodic tasks (weekly/monthly/quarterly) like vent cleaning and blinds.
