Job summary

Stantec’s Lynnwood office seeks an Electrical Project Manager – Federal to apply electrical engineering principles and strong client service to deliver federal projects, including military utilities, buildings, air fields and shipyards. Lead cross-functional teams and manage scope, schedule, budget and quality across pursuits through construction.

You will mentor staff, foster collaboration, and drive strategic client engagement while advancing Stantec’s capabilities in the federal sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience or equivalent.
• PE registration preferred and Federal project experience preferred.
• Experience collaborating with designers, contractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal electrical projects from pursuit to closeout.
• Be primary client contact and develop trusted relationships.
• Apply consulting, PM, and technical skills for outcomes.
• Direct cross-functional teams to deliver on scope, schedule, budget.
• Coordinate resources, priorities, and staffing for multiple projects.
• Manage forecasting, contracts, changes, invoicing, profitability.
• Mentor engineers and staff for growth and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across phases.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and new business.
• Prepare client meetings, presentations and communications.
