Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the United States is seeking an Electrical Project Manager - Federal to drive delivery of federal electrical engineering projects from pursuit through construction and closeout.

Based in the Lynnwood office with options for Seattle-area work, you will lead cross-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met while applying sustainable design principles and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering federal electrical engineering projects from pursuit to closeout.
• Strong client relationship development and objective management.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams.
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and building technology systems.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of federal electrical projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and build trusted relationships.
• Evaluate opportunities and risks to support outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, designers.
• Coordinate resources and staffing for multiple projects.
• Manage financial performance including forecasting and invoicing.
• Mentor engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
• Ensure scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Develop strong client relationships and pursue new business.
• Support business development through proposals and interviews.
• Deliver effective client meetings and communications.
• Stay current with codes, standards, and federal market trends.
• Champion safety and exceptional client service.
