Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking an eDiscovery Technician to support a federal agency's legal team in Arlington. Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; additional related work experience may substitute.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Log the production in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest cover letters and provide a brief production description.
• Call producing party for passwords if encrypted productions.
• Determine if cover letters qualify for loading into Relativity.
• Virus scan the production off-network and address issues or reject as needed.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency network.
• Follow protocols for handling documents (MOUs, RFPA, whistleblower, etc.).
• Analyze data to determine processing and protocol requirements.
• Verify data completeness and coordinate with Litigation Support when incomplete.
• Monitor for productions arriving via email and FTP.
• Scan and OCR paper documents; coordinate off-site scanning if needed.
