Job summary

City Light & Power (CLP) seeks a Project Manager to join the Construction PMO supporting design-build federal construction projects. You will lead multi‑discipline teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure delivery from design through close-out, with focus on compliant, high‑quality infrastructure for federal missions.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of federal construction experience; PMP certification is a plus. Must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred. Previous related work experience may substitute.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Five to ten years of experience managing USACE or federal government construction projects.
• Experience coordinating with blueprints, specifications, and proposals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute federal projects leveraging client mission, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and site superintendents.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and construction service plans.
• Review design documents for scope and contract compliance.
• Generate reports on progress, risk, and financial performance.
• Travel 20-30% to project sites throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project meetings from pre-award to close-out.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Develop site logistics plans and staffing with the Site Superintendent.
• Oversee procurement, cost control, and change management.
• Perform field inspections and QA/QC inspections.
• Uphold safety standards with EH&S alignment.
• Other duties as assigned.
