LMI, a digital solutions provider, seeks a Dataverse Data Architect to support CBP PMO under DHS. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a CBP BI, with 20% travel to remote areas.

Qualifications

Senior level: 10+ years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree or 7 years with MS degree in systems engineering.
Mid level: 3–10 years of relevant experience and a STEM BS degree.
Demonstrated experience designing data architecture solutions within Microsoft 365 environments.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and Purview.
Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
Experience in data governance, metadata management, privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data architecture solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Define data architecture standards, governance models, metadata structures, and information management practices for Microsoft 365 platforms.
Assess business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure data architecture designs.
Develop data models to support apps, collaboration, reporting, and automation.
Design data structures and integration patterns across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Platform, and Graph.
Establish information architecture for SharePoint Online including site structures and permissions.
Design data integration solutions using Graph API, Power Platform connectors, Azure services, and other tools.
Support enterprise reporting and analytics by designing data flows between Microsoft 365, Power BI, Dataverse, and Azure data services.
Define and enforce data classification, retention, archival, eDiscovery, records management, and compliance.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, privacy, and governance stakeholders to ensure policy alignment.
Design secure access models and least-privilege principles.
Support Purview implementation for governance and compliance.
Review and improve existing data structures for scalability and performance.
Develop architecture diagrams, data flows, metadata models, integration specs, and ADRs.
Assist migration planning from legacy repositories into Microsoft 365.
Provide technical guidance to architects, developers, and project teams.
Support application lifecycle management for Microsoft 365‑integrated apps.
