Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Dataverse Data Architect for the DHS CBP PMO. The role requires U.S. citizenship and CBP BI eligibility, with travel up to 20% and remote work possible in rugged areas.

You will design and govern data models and integrations using Dataverse and the Power Platform, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure security, governance, and compliant data practices across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant experience for senior level or 7+ years with MS degree in systems engineering.
Experience designing data architectures using Microsoft Dataverse.
Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI).
Strong knowledge of Dataverse table design, security, and environment management.
Experience with external system integration via APIs, connectors, and Azure services.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and govern scalable data models and integration solutions using Microsoft Dataverse and the Power Platform.
Develop data models, including Dataverse tables, relationships, and business rules.
Define Dataverse standards, naming conventions, and security models.
Design dataflows, APIs, connectors, and enterprise data exchange mechanisms.
Support data migration, validation, and data quality management.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable designs.
Review designs for scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
