Job summary

Heartland Consulting is seeking a Dashboard Developer to transform approved financial and operational data into management views for a DHS shared-services office. You will build and maintain data extracts from billing sources and translate them into dashboards for leadership and briefings.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience in reporting, strong SQL skills, and Power BI. You will reconcile dashboard totals to source reports and document processes, on-site at Potomac Center South in

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience building reports or dashboards from financial or operational data.
• SQL and a visualization tool such as Power BI are required.
• U.S. citizenship and fluency in English; must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data extracts from the approved billing and cost sources.
• Translate those extracts into reports and dashboards for program leadership and customer briefings.
• Reconcile every published view to the official monthly activity report before release.
• Support the weekly and monthly status visuals and the biannual program-review exhibits.
• Document extract logic, refresh steps, and known limitations.
• Support change requests that affect a report or dashboard under the program change process.
