Job summary

SAIC in Washington, DC is seeking a Power BI Database Engineer to design and deploy BI solutions, fuse data from multiple sources, and deliver real and near real-time reports for decision makers.

You will build data models, write advanced SQL, and leverage Power BI, SharePoint, and Excel to provide insightful dashboards for the DREN program. On-site role in DC with security clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years experience in BI or data engineering.
• Active Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
• Strong SQL, API, Power BI, data modeling skills.
• Experience with Power BI DAX and KPI scorecards.
• Agile environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy BI reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Develop data models and data integration from multiple sources.
• Create and optimize DAX measures and KPI scorecards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Ensure real-time or near real-time reporting for decision makers.
