What you'll be doing:- Collaborate with GuidePoint Security professional services, OEM sales, and technical teams to develop strategies for Federal Government agencies and teaming partners such as large systems integrators, focusing on customer opportunities, solutions, and responses to questions.
- Assist in developing GuidePoint Services SOWs (Statements of Work) that align with customer needs and goals.
- Analyze customer RFx's (RFPs/RFIs) technical requirements to assess feasibility, ensure compliance, and develop responses that address customer needs and differentiate GuidePoint Security's offerings.
- Engage with GuidePoint professional services to position and sell cybersecurity services to Federal agency customers.
- Work with customers, GPS services, and OEMs to understand their technology stacks, tools, and integration needs, providing technical overviews to the sales team.
- Manage complex proof-of-value projects and design experiments to showcase GuidePoint Security's ability to integrate technologies and solve cybersecurity problems.
- Contribute to developing reference architectures, presentations, and marketing briefs to attract customers.
You'll be a great fit if:- You can work closely with sales, marketing, and channel teams to align technical solutions with client needs and strategic goals, including participating in strategic account planning.
- You possess or can obtain an SSBI clearance to hold a Federal security clearance.
- You have experience as a technical consultant, pre-sales engineer, solution architect, or similar customer/partner technical role.
- You have excellent communication skills to conduct high-level technical discussions confidently with customers and OEMs.
- You demonstrate strong technical aptitude, quickly grasp new concepts, and have a passion for learning technologies.
- You have deep knowledge of the cybersecurity market and industry trends, or a cybersecurity background with enthusiasm to learn the entire landscape.
- You can quickly build rapport with customers and OEM partners and enjoy team building with a positive outlook.
Additional requirements:- MUST live in the DC metro area and be available for onsite meetings at GPS HQ and customer locations with minimal notice; role is mostly remote.
- Have direct SOC operations experience and can implement or operate SIEM, SOAR, and Data Analytics solutions.
- You have a passion for cybersecurity, both professionally and personally.
Preferred but not required:- Experience working directly with external customers to build integrated solutions from multiple companies.
- Experience with Cloud Security solutions such as CNAPP, SSPM, DSPM.
- Experience with CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, F5, Splunk.
