Quantum Sky is seeking a temporary Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to support federal government cybersecurity programs by developing, analyzing, implementing, and maintaining policies, standards, procedures, and guidance. The role requires translating federal requirements into practical policies and working with stakeholders to ensure alignment with federal directives.

The position demands 4–7 years’ experience in cybersecurity policy, with a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, information assurance, public policy, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT governance, risk management, compliance, or policy.
• Experience interpreting and applying cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing federal policy, governance, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, review, update, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and related governance documentation.
• Analyze federal cybersecurity laws, regulations, standards, and guidance for applicability and implementation.
• Support alignment with NIST, FISMA, OMB guidance, and agency policies.
• Translate technical requirements into clear policy and procedural guidance.
• Coordinate with system owners, security personnel, privacy officials, and risk executives to resolve issues.
