Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active bar admission (any U.S. jurisdiction).
• At least 1 year post-J.D. legal or relevant experience.
• United States citizenship required.
• Active Kansas bar membership at appointment required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the United States in U.S. District Courts and the Tenth Circuit in federal cases.
• Prosecute complex drug trafficking, Transnational Organized Crime, violent crime, firearms and immigration offenses, and financial crimes.
• Lead cases from investigation through charging, pretrial, trial, sentencing and appeal.
• Collaborate with federal, state and local agencies to disrupt serious criminal threats.
• Duties may expand with training and experience.
