Apex Consulting Solutions is seeking a Data Analytics, Power BI, Cost Modeling, and Power Platform Analyst to develop data-driven financial models and provide insights into cost structures, budgeting, and forecasting. The role emphasizes Power BI visualization, interdepartmental collaboration, and presenting cost analyses to executives.

The ideal candidate will have Power BI proficiency (DAX and Power Query), strong Excel/VBA skills, and experience with ERP systems. The position requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain at least a Secret clearance; U.S. citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; Master’s/ certification a plus.
• 1–3 years in cost analysis, financial modeling, or data analysis; recent grads welcome.
• Proficiency in Power BI with DAX and Power Query; strong financial modeling skills.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas, pivots, VBA.
• Experience with SQL or database tools and ERP familiarity.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to present to non-financial audiences.
• On-site work in Washington, D.C. 2–3 days per week for a Federal Government client.

Responsabilités

• Design interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize cost performance and budgets.
• Develop, maintain and improve cost models for forecasting and cost-savings opportunities.
• Generate financial reports and variance analyses for management.
• Integrate data from ERP and financial databases; ensure data quality for reporting.
• Support forecasting through historical trends and scenario analyses.
• Create automated workflows using Power Automate; develop Power Apps for data entry and budgeting.
• Present findings to senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Identify process improvements in data collection, reporting, and modeling.
