Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed, discipline-specific cost estimates using industry tools.
• Analyze cost proposals, bids, and change orders for compliance with regulations.
• Interpret drawings and specs to develop estimates across design stages.
• Reference UFC, Service Instructions, and codes for compliant estimates.
• Develop cost models, pricing databases, and historical data.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align estimates with scope.
• Support value engineering by evaluating materials or methods for cost savings.
• Prepare narratives and justification docs for government review.
• Evaluate risk and contingency based on project complexity and market conditions.
• Provide input for budgets, life-cycle cost analyses, and IGEs.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, design reviews, and post-award evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, and agency estimating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project delivery.
