Job summary

Mayvin is seeking a Contract Specialist I to support the U.S. Marshals Service contract within the Procurement Division (PD). You will handle cradle-to-grave contract actions, input orders into UFMS, and assist contracting officers with various bid and procurement activities.

Qualified candidates have a 4-year degree, at least 4 years of pertinent contract experience, and working knowledge of FAR (8, 12, 15). U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum of 24 hours of business credit.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant contract experience with emphasis on close-outs.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 8, 12, and 15).
• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contract reviews and cradle-to-grave operations, manage modifications, and handle close-outs.
• Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into UFMS.
• Assist contracting officers with large and small contract actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
