Job summary

Nakupuna Companies seeks a Contract Specialist to support the ASA (FM&C) acquisition and contract-management portfolio. You will assist in procurement-readiness packages, track milestones, and ensure that actions are complete and review-ready for Government oversight.

The ideal candidate has a BA in business or a related field, at least three years with federal contracting, and solid knowledge of FAR/DFARS/AFARS, contract types, and common procurement tools.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS).
• Knowledge of contract types (Firm-Fixed-Price, cost-reimbursement) and common federal contract vehicles (GSA schedules, Basic Ordering Agreements, IDIQ, deliver orders).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document-control practices.
• Strong writing, quality-review, organizational, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing procurement-readiness packages (PWS/SOW/SOO/IGEs/QASPs).
• Maintain acquisition and contract-action trackers with milestones and options.
• Perform quality-control reviews of acquisition and post-award documentation.
• Organize and maintain contract files, action logs, and meeting materials.
