Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Manager for a federal construction project based at Fort Stewart, GA. You will lead quality control activities, ensure adherence to contract specs and federal regulations, and coordinate inspections and testing with internal teams and external providers.

The role requires an Active QCM certification, a bachelor's in construction or engineering, and at least five years of federal project QC experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of federal construction QC experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering.
• Active QCM certification required.
• Knowledge of federal standards and OSHA 30 safety.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead QC activities for a federal project around $35M value.
• Develop and maintain the project QC plan including inspections and tests.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Identify, document, and track nonconformances; coordinate corrective actions.
• Oversee QC testing/inspections by internal and third-party providers.
• Review materials/methods to ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare QC reports and maintain records for audits.
• Collaborate with teams to drive continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure OSHA 30 safety practices are enforced on site.
