Job summary

Bilbro Construction Company Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects from award through closeout.

You will manage cost, schedule, contracts, change orders, subcontracts, and communication with owners and stakeholders, taking ownership of project performance in a small-business setting. The role requires leading kickoff, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and closeout activities, with frequent collaboration with the Superintendent and project team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing U.S. federal construction contracts.
• Minimum of 5+ years on construction project management assignments.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project start-up, establish project files and risks.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with the Superintendent.
• Monitor budgets, costs, and cost-to-complete; flag overruns.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and procurement; track payments.
• Prepare and track change orders; manage RFIs and submittals.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, architects, engineers, inspectors.
• Oversee project closeout, warranties, and final billing.
