Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction estimating, including federal work with agencies like USACE, NAVFAC, VA, or GSA. Travel for pre-bid visits is expected, and a BM/CE degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction estimating, including 3+ years on federal projects.
• Experience with government clients such as USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, AFCEC, or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of RS Means.
• Proficient in coefficient development for IDIQ, SABER, and JOC contracts.
• Strong background in assembly, unit-based, and detailed estimating.
• Proven ability to lead or support GC competitive bid estimates.
• Travel: Required for pre-bid site visits and client walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates for federal projects.
• Use RS Means and historical data for pricing.
• Develop pricing for JOC/SABER/IDIQ contracts.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate proposals, and ensure competitiveness.
• Maintain pricing libraries and track market trends.
• Coordinate with internal teams on preconstruction, operations, and proposal development.
