This role focuses on safeguarding IT infrastructure by implementing security controls and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks. You will collaborate with teams and ensure a secure cloud adoption. Responsibilities include monitoring cloud environments and responding to security incidents. Candidates should have experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure and strong knowledge of federal compliance frameworks. Onsite presence is required 3 to 5 days a week.
Qualifications
Proven experience securing cloud environments, preferably within FISMA compliance frameworks.
Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP or Azure cloud security, including logging and tagging strategies.
In-depth knowledge of federal compliance frameworks including FISMA and NIST 800-53.
Responsibilities
Implement security controls and ensure compliant cloud environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Monitor cloud environments for security events and configuration drift using SIEM.
Investigate and respond to security incidents and alerts, perform root-cause analysis.
