Job description

Cape Fox subsidiary Mountain Point is seeking a Federal Client Manager to join the team. The Federal Client Manager position is responsible for day-to-day project management, including planning, coordinating, integrating, monitoring, and driving all project activities and milestones per plan; ensuring the maintenance of technical communications and business files; monitoring and reporting schedule variances from plan; appraising impact of variances; recommending and implementing corrective actions; and maintaining client communications in the Gulf Coast Region. This position reports to the Sr. Vice President of Construction for Mountain Point, a construction company. Work will be performed primarily within the Southern United States (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, Florida). General construction work will include building renovations and repairs; new construction; pre-construction services, IT and physical security upgrades; electrical, plumbing and HVAC; and demolition. Civil and utility work will focus on specific electrical and underground water infrastructure (e.g., potable water, storm, sewer) and all associated earth moving services.

The Federal Client Manager is responsible for the planning, scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling assigned construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget. The employee will provide senior management of projects, personnel, and clients with focus on project management, personnel management/mentoring, and business development. The Senior Project Manager provides overall direction to a project or group of projects of considerable size, scope and complexity. The employee ensures the accurate completion of all work products, proper quality control / quality assurance measures are in place consistent with corporate guidelines, and work procedures are performed in a safe manner.

The Federal Client Manager is responsible for management and oversight of self-perform projects and work performed by subconsultants and subcontractors. The Senior Project is responsible for the overall financial performance relative to project-specific budgets. will be the direct liaison with the Government Contracting Official on-site as well as directing the daily activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements to maximize production and eliminate disruptions and downtime. The employee will ensure the construction schedule and budget are kept in accordance to plan. The Senior Project Manager will support the management of the Contractor Health and Safety Program (for purposes of this requirement, the Health and Safety Program is equivalent to Safety and Occupational Health Program in EM 385-1-1,U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual).
