Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Communications Consultant to support meeting development, client-facing communications, and day-to-day operations with client sponsors and consulting leaders. The role emphasizes self-motivation, teamwork, and delivering high-quality written content within federal compliance contexts.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of communications experience, with the ability to work onsite in Washington, DC, three days per week.

• Ability to work at client site in Washington, DC 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Capture meeting discussions, decisions, action items, and follow-up tasks.
• Produce clear and concise meeting minutes or summaries for stakeholders.
• Create written communication products, messaging collateral, and supporting documentation.
• Manage review and approval processes of communication documents for stakeholders.
• Draft organization-wide documents for diverse stakeholder audiences in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify content material for communication documents.
• Ensure all products are high quality and adhere to agency policies and standards.
• Participate in client meetings related to internal communications.
• Utilize communications expertise to produce high-level content.
• Support talking points, briefing memos, and press release development for client executives.
• Provide project management expertise over communication initiatives.
