PBG is seeking a Journeyman Management Analyst to support financial planning, budget execution, and operational reporting for a federal program office. The role involves hands-on analysis across funds management, KPI reporting, and financial data systems under senior guidance.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience, is proficient in Excel, and can communicate effectively with program leadership while ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public administration, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 2–4 years of professional experience in a management analyst, budget analyst, or financial/program support role.
• Working knowledge of federal budget and financial management concepts and terminology.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Access or similar database/reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring reporting deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Support financial planning activities, including tracking multi-fiscal-year spend plans.
• Assist in preparing monthly statistical reports, KPI reports, and other metrics for leadership.
• Maintain and update financial tracking databases and reporting systems for data accuracy.
• Coordinate with budget, financial management, and program staff on cost performance reporting.
• Assist with data calls, ad hoc analysis, and documentation for reviews.
• Track obligations, commitments, and expenditures against budgets and flag discrepancies.
• Contribute to process documentation and improve reporting workflows.
