Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the budget formulation process by prescribing policies, procedures, and controls.
• Designs, plans and directs the development of the Service's Budget estimate documents to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Budget Justifications to Congress.
• Leads preparation of budget materials for hearings, briefing the Directorate and key witnesses, and drafting responses to committee questions.
• Manages the development and maintenance of internal controls to ensure apportionment and allotment limits are met and GPRA compliance reporting.
