Job summary

A-TEK, Inc. is seeking an early-career Federal AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI and cloud solutions for federal missions. Hybrid role based in McLean, VA with no visa sponsorship and requirement for public trust clearance.

You will work with senior architects to create AI-enabled apps, cloud-native solutions, and prototyped automations across AWS and Azure, aligning with AI RMF and FedRAMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in AI/ML or related field.
• 0–2 years of professional software engineering, AI/ML, or cloud development experience.
• Proficient in Python through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Understanding of REST APIs, Git, containerization, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and prototypes.
• Build and maintain cloud-based environments in AWS and Azure.
• Assist with infrastructure deployment using Terraform, AWS CDK, or Bicep.
• Support CI/CD and cloud automation efforts.
• Collaborate with teams and contribute to documentation.
