You will build a successful sales practice by working directly with the DoD, Intelligence Community, and/or Federal Civilian agencies, along with our industry partners. Role and Responsibilities:

As an Account Executive, you are the front line of the sales process, effectively building a "business within a business".

  • Meeting with Clients: Discuss business requirements, challenges, and objectives, uncovering sales opportunities for engineering services and technical solutions.
  • Structuring Deals: Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Solutions Architects to position deals for success, working with stakeholders to secure funding, contracts, and engage external partners.
  • Market Research and Prospecting: Manage assigned accounts and proactively research and reach out to prospects to generate sales opportunities.
  • Networking: Develop relationships within industry partnerships, OEMs, consultants, and VARs to build your professional brand.
  • Continual Education: Invest in ongoing sales, industry, and OEM-specific training to enhance your value proposition.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain and update your sales pipeline regularly.
  • Collaborating with Other Departments: Work closely with engineering, project management, and post-sales operations teams.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Either 3+ years of recent Federal Market sales experience with a proven track record in selling advanced technology solutions OR recent technical experience within the Federal Government (DoD, Intelligence, or Civilian agencies)
  • Excellent solution and consultative selling skills
  • Demonstrated success in sales and account development with growth in revenue and gross profit
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Responsive communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with customer, departmental, and executive staff
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
  • Proactive organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to absorb and communicate technical information effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training
