Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of embedded software development using C++.
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Fisheye/Crucible, Confluence.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team lead for the design and implementation of scalable, reliable satellite software; conduct code reviews.
• Provide leadership to both senior and junior engineers; cultivate technical growth.
• Serve as a technical authority within the team; guide cross-functional projects.
• Be a steward of the team’s technical processes and documentation.
• Identify and facilitate technical training needs; champion continuous improvement.
• Partner with product owners, systems engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and roadmaps.
• Lead Agile ceremonies; participate in refinement and planning meetings.
• Mentor and unblock team members to meet deadlines.
