Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Feature Integration Quality Engineer in Cupertino, California to rigorously test new software features announced at WWDC and other events.

You will analyze proposals for risks, decompose complex systems for testing, and deliver comprehensive test plans and results to executives. Qualifications

• 3 years experience leading projects including manual and automation planning, test writing, execution, and triage on multiple platforms and all application layers.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through people and across an organization, forming relationships, collaborating with and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading testers, with emphasis on planning and handling multi-functional testing
• Skilled at debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving - applying analytical thinking skills to systematically assess project quality and prioritize issue resolution
• Extensive experience with different testing methodologies including integration, stability, performance, reliability, and stress testing
• Demonstrate ability to effectively leverage and test AI tools and features
• Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge.

The Software Programs Central QA team is seeking a Feature Integration Quality Engineer to create, run and report on tests of upcoming software features across all Apple products and platforms. Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
• Experience developing in Python, Java, Swift or C/C++ or Objective-C, familiar with databases, SQL, and scripting languages
• Solid understanding of diffusion and generative models in software, including training, fine-tuning, optimizing, deploying, and testing
• Experience testing APIs
• Easily adaptable in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and demanding environment
• Proficient at balancing multiple efforts simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines
• Able to deep dive into technical areas but also able to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $120,900 and $249,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
