Job summary

BlockReel seeks a mid-level Colorist for an upcoming dramatic feature. You will shape the film's visual language with color grading, primary/secondary corrections, and shot matching, delivering final masters in multiple formats.

Requirements include your own grading suite, proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, strong color science, LUTs, and camera codecs. Prior feature film workflow experience and a reel of dramatic work are required.

Qualifications

• Colorist with strong knowledge of color science and LUTs.
• Experience with feature film workflows and finishing masters.
• Portfolio/reel of dramatic/narrative work required.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of color grading for a dramatic feature.
• Perform primary/secondary corrections, shot matching, export masters.
• Work with OMF/AAF export and locked picture cut provided.
