Our upcoming independent drama feature is a character-driven story exploring themes of reconciliation and forgiveness in a small desert town, featuring nuanced performances and a visually striking, sun-baked aesthetic. We are seeking an entry-level Colorist to help define the film's final look. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing a consistent color grade across all scenes, ensuring visual continuity, and collaborating with the director and cinematographer to achieve the desired tone and mood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their feature film portfolio. Applicants should have a strong understanding of color theory, experience with industry-standard grading software (DaVinci Resolve preferred), and a keen eye for detail. While specific gear is not required (we will provide access to a grading suite), a strong reel showcasing your best work is essential. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA. The grading work is expected to be about 3 weeks of work, starting mid November 2026. Compensation is $100-200 per day. We are a small production company committed to fostering new talent and will provide a supportive environment for you to hone your craft.
