Cognizant is seeking a Feature Assurance Engineer to lead validation planning, testing, and signoff for automotive features in a fast-paced program. You will coordinate test environments, manage test artifacts, and ensure traceability in Jira throughout the feature lifecycle.

The role emphasizes leading defect triage, developing validation reports, and collaborating with FSEs to resolve issues to meet New Model Launch timelines. Onsite role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in an Engineering Discipline.
• Automotive Industry Experience 3+ years.
• Battery Management & Charging familiarity.
• Infotainment or Instrument Clusters knowledge.
• Connectivity expertise.

Responsibilities

• Follow and deliver Feature Assurance Engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate feature validation plan execution.
• Lead triaging and resolution of test results defects.
• Develop and sign off feature validation reports.
• Maintain Jira tickets and dashboards for traceability.
• Communicate progress to leaders via Jira and dashboards.
• Review test results against requirements and signoff criteria.
• Create DRP and manage non-conformance signoffs.
• Lead VOC/AIM feature issues resolution.
