Job summary
Advanced Technology & Research Corporation (ATR) in Maryland seeks a full-time engineer to perform finite element modelling and analysis on Naval systems at the Carderock Division site in West Bethesda, MD. The role focuses on structural dynamics, vibration and acoustic signatures for Navy platforms, with opportunities to design mitigation techniques.

Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of finite element modelling experience desired.
- US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Perform finite element modelling and analysis of Naval systems and components.
- Analyze and evaluate acoustic behavior of Navy vessels and test articles.
- Design and evaluate acoustics signature mitigation techniques.
- Produce technical documents and reports.
