We are currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Metal Inspector to join our facility in Worcester, MA.

Job Summary

The Inspector inspects and purchases non-ferrous materials to ensure compliance with specifications.

Major Job Responsibilities

  1. Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to the company's safety plan.
  2. Examine customer materials to determine the non-ferrous commodity and decide what commodity to purchase the material.
  3. Inspect products to determine compliance with the company’s specifications, quality control system, legal requirements, and shipping conformity to specified standards.
  4. Use a computer kiosk to purchase the ferrous material.
  5. Stamp the mark of approval or rejection on products and write reports of examination.
  6. Other duties may be assigned.

Job Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  2. One to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Ability to speak and understand English; ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus.
