Tech Mahindra in the United States is seeking a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge frontier AI products with production-grade reality inside customer environments. You will code, debug, and deliver bespoke agentic solutions directly within client ecosystems.

This high-agency role requires hands-on deployment, data readiness, and robust state management, with opportunities to shape reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices by embedding with strategic customers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience using Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience architecting and deploying AI solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience building data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from concept through deployment and support.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions and solution workshops with customers.
• Hands-on experience implementing and customizing Conversational AI, Virtual Assistant, Customer Engagement, or Contact Center AI solutions.
• Production-grade experience architecting voice AI, conversational AI, and agentic systems in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with APIs, microservices, system integrations, and enterprise security requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows.
• Architect and develop the integration layer between enterprise AI platforms and customer infrastructure, including APIs, legacy systems, data repositories, and security frameworks.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure agentic systems meet requirements for accuracy, safety, reliability, and latency.
• Identify repeatable implementation patterns and operational challenges, converting them into reusable frameworks or product improvements.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to establish industry-standard development practices for long-term project success and adoption.
• Drive end-to-end solution deployment, troubleshooting, optimization, and scaling of AI-powered applications in enterprise environments.

Role Summary

As a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you are an embedded builder who bridges the gap between frontier AI products and production-grade reality within customer environments. Unlike traditional advisory roles, you function as an innovator-builder, moving beyond high-level architecture to code, debug, and jointly deliver bespoke agentic solutions directly within customer ecosystems.

This role is designed for high-agency engineers with a founder's mindset. You will address blockers to production, including solving integration complexities, data readiness challenges, and state-management issues that prevent AI solutions from achieving enterprise-grade maturity. By embedding with strategic customers, you will provide hands‑on deployment of complex AI systems while serving as a critical feedback channel, transforming real‑world insights into reusable solutions, product enhancements, and best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a developer for complex AI applications, transitioning from rapid prototypes to production-grade agentic workflows (e.g., multi-agent systems, MCP servers) that drive measurable business outcomes.
• Architect and develop the integration layer between enterprise AI platforms and customer infrastructure, including APIs, legacy systems, data repositories, and security frameworks, as part of an expert engineering team.
• Build high-performance evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to ensure agentic systems meet rigorous requirements for accuracy, safety, reliability, and latency.
• Identify repeatable implementation patterns and operational challenges, converting them into reusable frameworks, accelerators, or formal product improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams to establish industry-standard development practices, ensuring long-term project success and high user adoption.
• Drive end-to-end solution deployment, troubleshooting, optimization, and scaling of AI-powered applications in enterprise environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience using Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience architecting and deploying AI solutions on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience building data pipelines for structured and unstructured data using vector databases, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience taking production-grade AI-driven solutions from concept through deployment and support.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions and solution workshops with customers.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and customizing Conversational AI, Virtual Assistant, Customer Engagement, or Contact Center AI solutions.
• Production‑grade experience architecting voice AI, conversational AI, and agentic systems in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with APIs, microservices, system integrations, and enterprise security requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, ADK, or similar.
• Experience with advanced agentic patterns, including ReAct, self-reflection, planning, memory management, and hierarchical delegation.
• Knowledge of LLM-native metrics (e.g., tokens/sec, latency, cost-per-request) and techniques for optimizing state management, tracing, observability, and performance.
• Familiarity with MLOps, AI governance, model evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers in solution delivery, consulting, or forward-deployed engineering roles.

The pay range for this role is $150,000- $230,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
