Job summary

First Databank (FDB) is seeking a Software Engineer in the Department team. The role focuses on developing, testing, and supporting applications for the healthcare/business sectors, with collaboration across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in a hybrid work model requiring onsite presence at least three days per week.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in CS or Engineering, 1+ year of software development, and experience with ASP.NET/C#, Java, or related languages;

The Software Engineer collaborates within a team tasked with developing, testing, and supporting applications and product lines designed for the healthcare/business sectors. This involves engaging with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams, to achieve project objectives

This position is based out of our [Location] office and follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to work onsite at least three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Development,maintenanceand integration of application software.

• Creates, uses, and promotes the use of development frameworks, tools,methodologiesand procedures to reduce future coding efforts and increase functional consistency.

• Able to translate software requirements into a fully functional software solution.

• Knowledgeable ofdesign patterns andpractices.;implements logical database designs, logical datamodelsand relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements.

• Provides insight into and knowledge of the latest application architectures, technology,solutionsand industry trends.

• Experience with and knowledge of softwaredevelopment lifecycles and the activities that occur within lifecycles.

• Be part of a development team using modern development languages, Relational and NoSQL databases

• Work with Product Owners and teams to drive features and specifications, architecture design, implementation, and other software development responsibilities.

• Create and update technical documents.

• Relational Database Experience (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), preferred but notrequired.

• Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure), preferred but notrequired

• Knowledge ofhealthcareindustry is a plus.
