Gemini, Inc. in Taylor, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist to join our on-site team. You will learn and perform multiple roles across the plant, supporting the plastics, pronto, and related shops while meeting workflow needs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality in a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing experience and the ability to lift 40 lbs are advantageous; the schedule runs 7:00am-3:30pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Secondary School education/CAECor equivalent demonstrated competency through work experience.
• 1 – 2 years of experience in a production environment.
• Manufacturing Experience (Preferred).
• Automotive Paint Experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Letter Finisher: ensure products are clean, free from scratches and properly finished as per the work order.
• Painter: mix paint per work order and spray per requirements and quality standards.
• Shipper: inspect finished products and prepare for UPS/truck pickup; understand shipping procedures.
• FCO operator: operate lasers or routers and laminate substrates as instructed; participate in Lean/CI efforts.
• Laminator: laminate foils or metal to substrates per work order; perform other duties as assigned.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement: participate in improvement efforts in the plant.

Gemini is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Specialist to join the team at our location in Taylor, TX. This position is responsible for learning and demonstrating proficiency and flexibility in all positions within the plant to respond to and support any position based on business need. This position supports other internal departments and those of the flat cut out, plastics and pronto shops. Wage Range: $19.65-25.76
Location: Taylor, TX
Type: Full Time – On-site
Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)
- Overtime is required and is scheduled as needed.

A day in the life of a Manufacturing Specialist at Gemini includes:

Letter Finisher

• Ensure products are clean and free from scratches and foreign materials.
• Properly finish and assemble as instructed by the work order.
• Assure each order is complete by counting and matching contents with the work order.

Painter

• Mix appropriate quantity of paint per work order, ensure that the paint is properly mixed as indicated by local conditions and matching paint chips or samples if required by the job.
• Spray products as required, ensuring that paint is applied in a manner consistent with customer requirements and company quality standards.

Shipper

• Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality, if required, and may clean products as necessary.
• Maintain familiarity with shipping procedures, bill of lading etc. and prepare products for UPS/truck pick-up required.

• Uses appropriate equipment to laminate either foils or metal to a substrate as instructed by the work order
