Job summary

Cart.com seeks a Warehouse Lead to manage inbound/outbound flow, returns, and inventory control. You will coordinate replenishment and kitting, ensure accuracy, and drive performance with the team.

You will train staff, supervise shipping, ensure safety and attendance, and uphold company policies in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Leads the team in executing job functions correctly, meeting performance and accuracy requirements and removing obstacles. Leads set the pace for the work, actively working with each team member to achieve individual and team success.What You’ll Do:Leads employees in the receiving of product per Jazz and customer-specific SOPs and the putting away of product into reserve and drop zones locations.Leads replenishment teams in the pulling and stocking of product into Active locations in quantities required by Jazz replenishment tasksRuns kitting teams in re-labeling, re-working and in the assembling of product for receiptProcesses returns per client requirementsMeets performance and quality requirementsWorks in conjunction with management team to foster a team environment and help with ensuring the overall success of Cart.com.Arrives before the shift’s start time to prep for the distribution of the workloadTrains and supervises the employees on the shipping teamEnsures all break and lunch periods are taken at the prescribed timesEnsures all employees punch in and out at the prescribed timesMonitors employees to ensure they are performing their duties as required.Ensures all company house rules, safety practices, sanitation practices and company ethics are always followedWho You Are:High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experienceThorough knowledge of packing and shipping proceduresProficiency in warehouse management systemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffectively motivate and manage a teamAble to lift 35 poundsStrong math skills – addition, subtractor, division, and multiplicationAbility to recognize and read location codes, date codes, and product codesWhat You’ve Done:2 years related distribution experiencePrevious warehouse lead experienceNice to Haves:Bilingual speaking (English/Spanish)Physical Demands & Working Conditions:Able to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping over, reaching, etc.).Able to lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs. on occasion (document boxes, files, binders, and other items)Able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of timeAble to work overtimeConstant exposure to adverse conditions such as dust, noise, fumes, weather, poor lighting, or heavy machinery/equipmentCart.com is an equal opportunity employer.
