NORTHERN HIGH SCHOOL in Owings, Maryland is seeking a dedicated FBLA Club Sponsor to develop and implement new clubs with student input and school guidance. You will represent the principal to ensure clubs reflect the school community and engage students in after‑school activities across various interests.

The sponsor will collaborate with staff to provide students with diverse experiences that support their growth as learners and individuals. This is an extra duty with appropriate stipend.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated management, leadership and human relations skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in making decisions.
• Proven ability to carry an assignment to its completion.
• Demonstrated success in accomplishing tasks akin to the duties listed below.

Responsabilités

• Work with the principal to establish guidelines for the club sponsorship.
• Set meeting dates and communicate them to students to maximize enrollment.
• Meetings should occur at least monthly for the club duration.
• Collaborate with the principal on special projects or products from club activity.
• Record all monies collected for events and remit to the principal’s designee.
• Schedule club events per school policies.
• Secure sufficient staff to chaperone and supervise activities.
